Daniel J. Brouder M.D.

Dr. Brouder joined Ocean renal Associates in 2003. He received his undergraduate from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN. He received his medical degree from SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn in 1998. Following medical school he completed residency in Internal Medicine at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA., and a Nephrology fellowship at Westchester Medical Center, N.Y. Dr. Brouder is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He is on the medical staff of Community Medical Center, Ocean Medical Center, Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Southern Ocean County Hospital, and Kimball Medical Center. Dr. Brouder is the medical director of Ocean Medical Center out patient dialysis unit. His interests are all aspects of clinical nephrology, hypertension and dialysis.

Nadeem Haider M.D.

Dr. Haider joined Ocean Renal Associates in 2001. He received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers College in New Brunswick, NJ. He received his medical degree from St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies in 1995. Following medical school he completed both residency and fellowships at Albert Einstein Medical Center, The Medical Center of Delaware, and The Graduate Hospital. Dr. Haider is board certified in Internal medicine and in Nephrology. He is on the staff Community Medical Center, Ocean Medical Center, Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Southern Ocean County Hospital, and Kimball Medical Center. Dr. Haider is also the director of Lakewood Dialysis Unit. Special interests in Nephrology include management of: Acute kidney injury, Chronic Kidney Disease, Hypertension, Kidney Stone Prevention, Management of the Renal Transplant Recipient, and Dialysis.

Jose Iglesias D.O. F.A.C.P. FASN

Dr. Iglesias joined Ocean Renal Associates in 1999. He is the Managing Partner of Ocean Renal Associates. Dr. Iglesias is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine as well as the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ School of Osteopathic Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ in 1993. Following medical school, he completed both postgraduate residency and fellowships at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts, Boston University Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, and University of Massachusetts Medical Center/ St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts. Dr. Iglesias is board-certified in the American Board of Internal Medicine, Nephrology, Critical Care, and is a specialist in Hypertension by the American Society of Hypertension. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Nephrology. Dr. Iglesias is on the staff for Community Medical Center, Ocean Medical Center, Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Southern Ocean County Hospital, and Kimball Medical Center. He is the Medical Director of the John J. DePalma Renal Institute of Central Jersey, one of the largest dialysis centers in New Jersey. His interests are all aspects of clinical nephrology, care of the renal transplant patient, hypertension, critical care medicine, and dialysis.

Angelo Markatos D.O.

Dr. Markatos joined Ocean Renal Associate in 2004. He received his undergraduate degree from Villanova University. He received his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999. Following medical school he completed both Internship and Residency in internal medicine at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown PA. He completed his Nephrology fellowship in 2004 at Allegheny General Hospital/Drexel College of Medicine. Dr. Markatos is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Special interests in Nephrology include management of: Chronic Kidney Disease, Hypertension, Kidney Stone Prevention, Management of the Renal Transplant Recipient, and Dialysis. Dr Markatos is on the medical staff at Jersey shore University Hospital, Ocean Medical Center, Kimball Medical Center, Community Medical Center and Southern Ocean Medical Center

Ariel Meyer D.O.

Dr. Meyer Joined Ocean Renal Associate in 2008. He received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers College in New Brunswick, NJ. He received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ – School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002. Dr. Meyer was awarded the prestigious “Dean’s Award,” for graduating at the top of his class. Following medical school he completed both Internship and Residency at the University of Connecticut. He did an additional year as Chief Medical Resident at Hartford Hospital. Nephrology fellowship was completed in 2008 at Albert Einstein College of Medicine – Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. Dr. Meyer is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Special interests in Nephrology include management of: Chronic Kidney Disease, Hypertension, Kidney Stone Prevention, Management of the Renal Transplant Recipient, and Dialysis. Dr Meyer is on the medical staff at Jersey shore University Hospital, Ocean Medical Center, Kimball Medical Center, Community Medical Center and Southern Ocean Medical Center.

Mrugesh Panchani M.D.

Dr. Panchani joined Ocean Renal Associates in 2016. He received medical degree from the M.S. University Baroda –Medical College Baroda, India, in 2007. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Monmouth Medical Center, New Jersey where he served as chief medical resident in 2013-2014. His Nephrology fellowship was completed in 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson University hospital-Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Brunswick, NJ. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Dr.Panchani’s special interests in Nephrology include management of: Chronic Kidney Disease, Hypertension, electrolyte disorders, glomerular disease acute kidney injury, Kidney Stone Prevention, management of the Renal Transplant Recipient, and Dialysis. Dr. Panchani is on the medical staff at Jersey shore University Hospital, Ocean Medical Center, Kimball Medical Center, Community Medical Center and Southern Ocean Medical Center. I am committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to patients. My focus is on assisting patients achieve and maintain good kidney health that helps sustain overall health.

Jin Park M.D.

Dr. Park joined Ocean Renal Associates in 1990. He received his medical degree at the Catholic College of Medicine in Seoul, Korea in 1968. Following medical school he completed his internship at Brown University. Dr Park completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Catholic College of Medicine in Seoul, Korea and at St. Clare Hospital in N.Y. Dr Park completed a Nephrology fellowship at Mt. Sinai Hospital in N.Y. Dr. Park is on the medical staff of Community Medical Center, Ocean Medical Center, Southern Ocean County Hospital, and Kimball Medical Center. Dr. Park brings over 30 years of clinical experience in Nephrology. His interests are all aspects of clinical nephrology, hypertension and dialysis.

Joseph V. Schirripa M.D.

Dr. Schirripa joined Ocean Renal Associate in 2006. He received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University New Brunswick, NJ. He received his medical degree from University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ in 2001. Following medical school he completed both Internship and Residency in internal medicine at The Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Medicine Jacksonville Fla. He completed his Nephrology fellowship in 2006 at Drexel University College of Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Special interests in Nephrology include management of: Acute kidney injury, Chronic Kidney Disease, Hypertension, Kidney Stone Prevention, Management of the Renal Transplant Recipient, and Dialysis. Dr Schirripa is on the medical staff at Jersey shore University Hospital, Ocean Medical Center, Kimball Medical Center, Community Medical Center and Southern Ocean Medical Center.

Ankit Shah M.D.

Doctor Shah joined Ocean Renal Associates in 2014. He received medical degree from the M.S. University Baroda –Medical College Baroda, India, in 2004. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Monmouth Medical Center, New Jersey where he served as chief medical resident in 2012. His Nephrology fellowship was completed in 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University hospital-Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Brunswick, NJ. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Dr shahs special interests in Nephrology include management of: Chronic Kidney Disease, Hypertension, electrolyte disorders ,glomerular disease acute kidney injury, Kidney Stone Prevention, management of the Renal Transplant Recipient, and Dialysis. Doctor Shah is on the medical staff at Jersey shore University Hospital, Ocean Medical Center, Kimball Medical Center, Community Medical Center and Southern Ocean Medical Center.

Olusola Akintola, APN

Olusola received his Advanced Nurse Practitioner degree from Chamberlain University in 2021.

He is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. His Bachelors and Associates degrees in nursing are from Kean University and Ocean County College, New Jersey.

Prior to joining Ocean Renal Associates in 2024, he worked as a hospitalist nurse practitioner providing comprehensive care to patients in the hospital settings.

His interests in nephrology include management of end stage renal disease and dialysis, acute and chronic kidney diseases, hypertension, metabolic and electrolytes disorders, both in the inpatient and outpatient settings, in collaboration with the physicians in the group.

Olusola is on the medical staff at Jersey Shore University Hospital, Ocean Medical Center, Kimball Medical Center, Community Medical Center and Southern Ocean Medical Center. He is also currently managing outpatient hemodialysis patients in FMC Toms River as well as FMC  Manahawkin in collaboration with Medical Director, Dr. W. Palecki.

Given many of his patients are dealing with complex chronic diseases, his focus is working with patients and their families and helping them to effectively manage their chronic conditions and improve quality of life.

Neethu Gopisetti, M.D.

Dr. Gopisetti joined Ocean Renal Associates in 2022. She received her medical degree from the NTR University of Health Sciences –Siddhartha Medical College,India, in 2012. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at Abington Medical Center, Abington, PA. Her Nephrology fellowship was completed in 2022 at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Her clinical interests include all ranges of kidney disease, electrolyte disorder, hypertension, dialysis, post-transplant renal care and kidney stone prevention. 

Dr. Gopisetti is on the medical staff at Jersey Shore University Hospital, Ocean Medical Center, Kimball Medical Center, Community Medical Center, and Southern Ocean Medical Center.

Matt Holt, APN

Matt joined Ocean Renal Associates in 2022. He received his RN degree from Ocean County College of Nursing and continued to receive his Bachelors and then his Masters in Nursing from Kean and Chamberlain University. He is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Matt’s special interests in Nephrology include inpatient management of: Chronic Kidney Disease, Hypertension, electrolyte disorders, acid/ base imbalances, acute kidney injury, and Dialysis. Matt also leads our Chronic Kidney Disease Education program; helping to transition our patients from Chronic Kidney Disease into End Stage Renal Disease. He is on the medical staff at Jersey Shore University Hospital, Ocean Medical Center, Kimball Medical Center, Community Medical Center and Southern Ocean Medical Center. He is passionate about every patient and committed to providing comprehensive care and helping to alleviate the fears that come along with facing illness.

Amar Bhagat, D.O

Dr. Bhagat joined Ocean Renal Associates in 2023. He attended Rutgers University for his undergraduate education and received his medical degree at Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed Internal Medicine residency training at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland, NJ. He completed his Nephrology Fellowship in 2023 at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ where he served as GMEAC Council Representative and was co-chief. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Bhagat has interests in a wide spectrum of Nephrology-related issues including Chronic Kidney Disease, End Stage Renal Disease, Glomerulonephritis, Difficult to Control Hypertension, and Electrolyte Disorder. He is a current member of the American Society of Nephrology and Renal Physicians Association. Dr Bhagat’s personal interests include photography, traveling, playing basketball and tennis and spending time with family.

Dirksen Taguiam, APN

Dirksen Taguiam joined the Ocean Renal team in 2020. He is a knowledgeable and compassionate nurse practitioner with over 20 years of nursing experience in diverse healthcare settings, including nursing homes, hospitals, and academia, before transitioning to specialize in nephrology. He leverages the knowledge and skills acquired in those environments to adeptly assess, diagnose, and manage a diverse range of kidney-related conditions. Committed to advancing his expertise in kidney care, he is currently completing his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) studies with a research focus on testing a mobile app aimed to empower patients to take control of their kidney health to prevent readmissions and enhance their quality of life.

He is on the medical staff at Jersey Shore University Hospital, Ocean Medical Center, Kimball Medical Center, Community Medical Center, and Southern Ocean Medical Center. Dirksen is highly respected among his peers for his commitment, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills. His notable recognition as the Advanced Practice Provider of the Year in 2023 at Community Medical Center underscores his profound commitment to excellence and compassionate care in nephrology.

Mary Jane Castillo, APN

Mary Jane joined Ocean Renal in 2018. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila Philippines in 1997 and graduated from Walden University with her MSN in Adult-Gerontology, Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program in 2017. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board.

Her first RN positions were in labor and delivery and oncology. Her nephrology journey started in 2005 as an acute dialysis nurse at Community Medical Center and then went on to become a Certified Nephrology Nurse. Her passion for nephrology and nursing led her to pursue her lifelong goal of becoming a nurse practitioner. She is credentialed at Community Medical Center, Southern Ocean University Medical Center, and Monmouth Medical Center Southern campus. She is also currently managing outpatient hemodialysis patients in FMC Brick as well as FMC Lakewood in collaboration with Medical Directors, Dr. Daniel Brouder and Dr. Nadeem Haider. Her focus is on providing comprehensive and high-quality care for all of her patients. 

Winicjusz Palecki M.D.

Dr. Palecki joined Ocean Renal Associated in 2001. He received his medical degree at Silesian University School of Medicine in Katowice, Poland in 1992. Following medical school he completed an internship at Silesian University Nephrology clinic. Dr. Palecki completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Centers Queens NY., and his Nephrology fellowship at New York Hospital of Queens. Dr. Palecki is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He is on the staff at Community Medical Center, Ocean Medical Center, Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Southern Ocean County Hospital, and Kimball Medical Center. His interests are all aspects of clinical nephrology, care of the renal transplant patient, hypertension, critical care medicine and dialysis.

Dr. Ellis joined Ocean Renal Associates in 1981. He received his undergraduate degree from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. He received his medical degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. in 1971. Following medical school he completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at The Medical Center of Western Massachusetts. Dr Ellis completed his Nephrology fellowship at Bay State/Tufts Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. Dr. Ellis is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He is a Fellow of American College of Physicians, and a Hypertension Clinical Specialist of The American Society of Hypertension. He is on the staff for Community Medical Center, Ocean Medical Center, Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Southern Ocean County Hospital, and Kimball Medical Center. Dr. Ellis is also the medical director of Whiting and Southern Ocean County Dialysis. His interests are all aspects of clinical nephrology, hypertension and dialysis.
